New Years Eve Nightfall - Print
11” x 14” Archival Giclée Print on Cotton Paper
I was blessed to ring in the New Year camping, surrounded by loved ones and dogs who hold a special place in my heart. We stood on the edge of a vast plateau, gazing out over the desert and taking in the breathtaking beauty of the Four Corners region.
As the red sun dipped below the horizon, the new moon rose and the stars claimed the sky. We shared a bottle of champagne, gathered around a fire, bundled in an impossible amount of layers. Our dogs all cuddled up, snuggling together under blankets on our laps. We were freezing but perfect in that moment.
We laughed, reminisced, and reflected on the year that had passed, celebrating and honoring our accomplishments, while discussing what was yet to come.
The following days were spent hiking through the desert, discovering its secrets. In winter, the desert is at rest, and we encountered few creatures, just birds, mostly birds of prey.
Kindly note that actual colors may vary slightly due to monitor differences.
