A coyote made of wildflowers, This painting is part of my journey back into traditional painting and drawing mediums after nearly six years away from them. It’s been a vulnerable, sometimes messy, and deeply joyful process of remembering how to play, how to create this way with my hands again.
This piece is rooted in memory, in the feeling of wildflowers blooming, and how the mountains and valleys come alive with soft, endless waves of color. It’s a love letter to nature, to returning, and to the magic of starting over.
